Recovery ... day 3

wow what a difference 24 hours can make!! although mack still has a long ways to go, she is beginning to swallow w/ less pain and appears a bit more interested in ice cream shakes! progress!

she slept all night which seemed like a very improved sign. she's a trooper when i wake her every four hours for meds. what an easy patient! she even wrote me a note yesterday thanking me for taking such good care of her - aaaawwwww!!

thanks again for all the prayers!! it just plain SUCKS to see your child in pain ... whether it's 'routine surgery' (ROUTINE TO WHO?) or not!!!
